An annual festival is held in January - February to commemorate the death anniversary of saintly person by the name Uthman Auliya. Special feature of the festival is the grand procession in which people ceremoniously bring things such as rice, coconuts etc. as offerings to the mosque. Next day a feast is held where the various articles from the procession offerings are cooked and distributed to poor.
